Supporting Channel Partners

iOmniscient understands that the greatest investment an organization can make is building strong channel relationships. A great product requires a great team of partners with the confidence to sell, install, support and use the product as if it were their own.

At the recent Security 2007 Exhibition in Sydney, iOmniscient demonstrated a strong prominence in the Australian security industry thanks to the support shown by various iOmniscient partners.

"It was great to see our partners actively promoting our products. We (iOmniscient) have always viewed ourselves as an extended arm of our partner's organization and the development of these channel relationships are really starting to pay off through our worldwide network of knowledgeable partners" said Mathew Bertram, Marketing Manager, iOmniscient.

Special thank you goes out to Pacific Communications, Security Merchants and Axis Communications for displaying the iOmniscient solution on their stands, helping us to reinforce the value and superiority of our intelligent video analytics.

iOmniscient will be exhibiting at Security 2008 in booth F8. For further information on upcoming tradeshows please contact mathew@iomniscient.com.

Industry Specific Solutions

At iOmniscient we recognize that no two customers are the same. One of our key focuses is to understand the needs of specific industries and offer a tailored solution for these customers. We offer many industry specific products including IQ-Airport, IQ-Rail, IQ-Road, IQ-Retail, IQ-Oil and Gas and IQ-Museum. All of these products have been developed and customized based on the needs of each industry. In IQ-Road, for instance, the package also includes speeding detection; queue management is included with IQ-Retail and in IQ-Museum the system will automatically detect paintings and establish Areas of Interest around them. IQ-Rail has a special feature to detect people who cross the yellow line on a platform (but only when the train is not stopped there).

Most commonly we find the industries that require specialized capabilities also have a demand for accurate detection in very busy areas. This is true of most major industries, particularly, but not limited to, those in the transportation sector such as roads, rail and airports. A large number of these industries are now turning to iOmniscient to solve their analytical issues, with its patented Non Motion Detection system. That is why all of our industry solutions come with Non Motion Detection capabilities.

Seeing through the crowd is iOmniscient's speciality and whether it is a matter of detecting theft, left objects or just counting no one else can match iOmniscient's ability in crowded areas.

All of iOmniscient's industry specific solutions will operate with existing surveillance system infrastructure and will work in conjunction with standard IQ Series products. With a worldwide network of certified resellers and a 24x7 support team, iOmniscient goes the extra mile to provide you with the right tools to enhance your safety whilst saving money in your day to day operations.

Expanding Our European Channels

The latest members of the iOmniscient community, Indanet from Germany, and Orbit Technology and BilgeGuvenlik, both from Turkey, have recently signed with iOmniscient and will be marketing and implementing the IQ Series throughout their respective countries.

“We are experiencing an increased demand for the IQ Series throughout Europe, particularly from end-customers. To continue providing a high level of customer satisfaction requires partners on the ground, who understand the local market and can offer a solution that far exceeds the customer’s expectations. We welcome these new partners and look forward to supporting them further through our European Support Centres in Germany and the UK.” said Rustom Kanga, Chief Executive Officer, iOmniscient.

Some Thoughts on Participating in Industry Forums and Events

iOmniscient participates in many industry conferences, exhibitions and trade shows. These help us to display and demonstrate our uniqueness and capabilities, increase general awareness, and build relationships. We tend to use fairly stringent criteria in deciding which events to participate in.

One of the important criteria is whether the event portrays different suppliers in an unbiased way to the audience. All too often we see some events being advertised as ‘independent’ but on closer inspection, they are commercially orientated, with the company offering the most money being given the best speaking slots and being portrayed as the superior entity.

We are happy to advertise as well. However we believe that if an event is going to be an advertorial then the audiences should be made aware of this.  For this reason you will find that we actively support some events rather than others.

If, as a reseller, you are planning to participate in an industry forum or event, let us know your plans as we may be able to support you with promotional material and posters if we believe that the event provides an adequate forum to promote our technology.
