Safe guarding Oil Refineries and Pipelines

 

iOmniscient has just completed the implementation of yet another intelligent surveillance system for an oil terminal and pipeline in the Middle East (more details available on request). This has helped us to put the finishing touches on a new Industry package of capabilities called “IQ Oil and Gas” which provide a security and operations management solution for this industry. In addition to the traditional applications of intruder detection and pipeline protection the system can be used to prevent collisions of ships with oil rigs, to detect fires and provide secure access.

iOmniscient has just opened its latest Support Center in India adding to the existing capabilities in Australia, China, UK and Canada. iOmniscient’s customers expect support 24x7 in every corner of the globe. They also expect on site support to be available at a very cost effective rate. If a Support Engineer in one time zone receives a support call he can work on it and if he has not resolved the issue during his business hours he passes it on to the Support Engineer in the next time zone. Not only does this ensure that customers get very fast responses but their problems are worked on even while the customer sleeps.

Training Schedule for next Six Months

 

  It is critical for our resellers and customers to be properly trained and certified. For this purpose training courses will be held in different locations.

 
 
The training itself is free. However a small fee is charged to cover incidental costs such as the hire of facilities (where necessary) and refreshments. Of course participants must cover their own travel and living costs. Participants in these programs will receive a free 2 camera software license for IQ Infinity for use in demonstrations. Also in conjunction with our partners they can purchase up to two units of the following at 60 percent of their normal price:

  • IP cameras
  • External Storage Drives from Seagate
