In a busy environment such as a crowded train station innocent people may regularly obscure an abandoned bag as they walk past it, no other software in the world is capable of detecting that bag.
- Detection of suspicious objects that are left in a busy railway station despite obscuration and constant passenger movement in the camera’s field of vision (IQ-140, IQ-180)
- Detection of even virtually invisible tiny objects despite low contrast, obscuration and constant movement (IQ-180)
- Object detection at level crossing to determine if train can safely pass crossing, or indeed object detection anywhere on the railway tracks (IQ-140, IQ-180)
- Perimeter Protection on the track – alarms if people walk on the track whilst ignoring the motion of the train. (IQ-120, IQ-100)
- Directional alarm for someone jumping off the platform but not on someone coming back onto the platform (or vice versa) (IQ-120, IQ-110)
- Directional alarm for someone leaving the end of platforms but not people coming back up (or vice versa) (IQ-120, IQ-110)
- Detection of people loitering in and around station (IQ-120)
- Detection of people sleeping on benches at night (IQ-140, IQ-180)
- Perimeter protection & intrusion detection for protecting restricted access areas of rail premises (IQ-120, IQ-100)
- Slip & Fall detection for limiting public liability (IQ-115)
- Graffiti and vandalism detection in and around station
(IQ-140, IQ-180)
- Standard Counting and market research (eg number going through a particular gate) (IQ-120, IQ-110)
- Crowd Counting with ability to detect if platform becomes overcrowded (IQ-120)
- PDA capability to give the Station Master / security guard the ability to view and manage all activity even if they are moving about
Some Potential Customized Applications:
Systems from iOmniscient can be easily customized here are some potential applications that could be developed on request:
- When integrated with STI train management system, iOmniscient has the ability to slow a train if an object is detected on the tracks or at the crossing
- Alarm to show “swipers” in the scene (people who buy a day ticket and sell “by the swipe” tickets to other passengers
- After hour meetings between people dealing with drugs (people who come together from different places and stop together for a while before parting)
- Fighting / stabbing at night (note that different cultures have different levels of hand gestures as part of their normal behaviour – hence this can be prone to cultural bias).
- Ability to recognize the Train number
These customised functions can be developed and quoted for separately on request. |
