Interfacing with DVR's involves two parts; the input and output between your DVR and IQ system:
Options for input into IQ System
- we can take a loop-out from your DVR (a video capture card is needed on IQ system if you have an analogue signal)
- split the camera feed (via VDA) to both your DVR and IQ system
- simple interface can be created if you can provide us images in jpeg format using http (IP stream)
- interface can be done if you have a MPEG4 format (actual work and efforts need to be discussed)
- tightly couple interface using our API (actual work and efforts need to be discussed)
Options for alarm output to DVR
1. via Relay card to turn on/off in the event of alarm
2. via an XML Schema using TCP/IP or RS232 in the event of alarm (will require a simple listening program at the DVR or other equipment)
